The ICT Officer Role:
As an ICT Officer, you'll be based in Nairobi, Kenya, and play a crucial role in ensuring that Concern Worldwide's ICT systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with global best practices. Key Focus Areas:
- ICT Systems Support and Innovation: Ensuring the country office has the best tools and systems.
- Cloud-based Platforms: Implementing and managing cloud technologies for efficient data storage and access.
- Network Infrastructure: Managing networks and data to keep operations running smoothly.
- End-user Support: Providing helpdesk services and training to staff.
- ICT Policy Compliance: Ensuring the organization follows its ICT and data protection policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing daily ICT support to staff, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
- Managing cloud platforms, networks, servers, and data storage systems.
- Overseeing user access, data security, and backup procedures.
- Coordinating helpdesk services and prioritizing support requests.
- Implementing ICT strategies, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with organizational ICT and data protection policies.
- Assisting with the rollout and maintenance of new ICT systems.
- Conducting routine system maintenance and performance monitoring.
- Supporting staff onboarding and offboarding processes.
