Measuring at 136mm by 120mm and weighing in at 1617g, the QuikBeam is a part of Astera's esteemed Quik series of focusing LED Fresnels. It boasts a remarkable output equivalent to a 200W tungsten light source, featuring an adjustable Fresnel zoom that ranges from 13° to 60°. One of its standout characteristics is the innovative HotBeam function, which allows users to extend the beam angle beyond the typical range.
In terms of usability, the QuikBeam is equipped with swappable QuikBrick batteries and incorporates Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology. For hardwired applications, the QuikBeam can be connected up to 100 meters away from a PowerInjector or an IP65 NetBox, which provides four PoE EtherCON outputs along with PrepBox functionality. This unique combination of power and data transmission within a single cable supports standard protocols like sACN and ArtNet, further enhancing its versatility. Plus, with an IP65 rating, the fixture is designed to withstand various environmental conditions while remaining compatible with existing PoE switches, ensuring the battery is charged whenever it is connected.
